Step 1
First, we draw the head, body, and then the antenna. The top of the body is the head of course, but did you know the middle is called the thorax, and the bottom is called the abdomen?
Step 2
Then we draw the first wing in the back, also called the hindwing. Make sure the hindwing is coming out from the bottom of the thorax.
Step 3
Next, we draw the other hindwing.
Step 4
Now we draw the first front wing, also called the forewing. Make sure it's coming out from the top of the thorax and not the head. Go to the next page to continue learning how to draw a butterfly.
